A few things:

1. Skateboarding is awesome
2. The stuff you see on social media - people doing crazy shit on skateboards - isn’t really skateboarding. It’s dicking around.
3. How to tell the difference: if you would never try the stunt without a “filmer” and some dudes to bro-hug you afterward, it is wankery.
4. If a skateboarding event is sponsored by, say, an insurance company, that’s a problem.
