I’m pretty excited about this board. Technically there’s nothing that special about it. It’s an 8.5 inch wide popsicle stick shape board. But it’s from the Philadelphia Skateboard Academy, run by my friend AJ Kohn. Over the last probably 20 years he has done a lot of good work in Philadelphia teaching kids to skate, and making skateboarding more available to a lot of young people who don’t have a lot of financial resources. He’s a good guy. So I wanted to support the Academy a little bit by buying one of the boards. I will certainly be setting it up and putting some scratches on it soon.
