New board, part 4
OK, other than changing wheels if I find myself on a rougher surface (or when these wheels wear out), this setup is complete.
This morning I cut down a tail skid to fit the unique tail shape and put it on. That will be the “tail” of this symmetrical board. I’m not putting a skid on the nose. I want to retain all the clearance I can for nose wheelies. I don’t wear the nose of boards down like I do the tails.
I put some grip tape behind the tail, between the truck and the skid plate, for doing caspers.
Everything fits together really well. Ready to go to Tucson!
