Inspired by @theLoneSentry ’s “Madness” posts, I ordered myself a Christmas present today. Been looking at this deck for a while.

About 10 years ago – well maybe more like 15 - I got a “double diamond” shaped deck from Shipyard Skates. It turned out to be one of my favorite boards ever. Double Diamond means the nose and tail have kind of a diamond shape.I found this board on the Heroin Skateboards website.

It is a double diamond shape, but is symmetrical. Wider in the middle than over the trucks, it will offer stability while allowing me to run a slightly narrower and more responsive truck while not feeling tippy. Looking foward to it.
