My friend Joe Makarski parked his converted school bus in front of our house yesterday. Joe travels the country in the bus, taking pictures for NHL games, skateboarding events, and doing incredible portraits of the people he meets on the road. He is one of the many good and fascinating people I’ve met through skateboarding. 

This is a shot he took of me in 2019, at StupidFest, an annual gather of skateboarders, in Austin. To paraphrase one of our mutaual friends, Joe makes us look like rock stars. He is appreciated.
