Nose 360s

A goal of mine for many years has been to learn proper 2-footed nose 360s, sometimes called hang-ten 360s. The best I ever get is three. In this video I get about two. I have some friends who can really crank into these with power and get a proper axis going. Hoping to get up to getting five regularly. To really get a good spining axis I’m going to have to really change my technique. This is actually a pretty scarey position. I need to swing right into them from a hang-ten wheelie, rather than putting the wheels down first.

These kind of muliple 360s are pretty difficult. You don’t see many people doing them. I guess technically you don’t see many skaters doing mulitple 360s at all. Only in freestyle. It’s rare for other skaters to be able to do more than one of any sort. The scarey part of these is the feeling that you might fall backwards. With both feet together it is quite an awkward position to be in. Even though this feels uncomfortable, as I’ve gotten older I’ve come to appreciate tricks that don’t require jumping!
