An old trick

This is a trick I came up with in college. Many people have come up with it independently. It’s not like it’s that complicated. It’s a carving nose pivot in which you swing the back truck back over the curb and land in a rear axle stall. From there there’s multiple ways to get out. You could do a shove it. You could do a finger flip. Or you could just kick turn down. I used to call this the “lemon twist”. There was no good reason for the name. I have to give myself a little credit though, because while I’ve seen many people do this trick I always make an effort to really tweak the board back behind me. I think it looks better that way.
