I set up a new board last night. My Mode pool model had reached the end of its useful life. This 8.5" wide popsickle shape is one I hoarded during the early days of the pandemic. A pretty standard design, with relatively mild concave and nose/tail kick angles. A lot of skaters like to feel kind of locked in when they skate. They don’t want their feet to move around too much, and the steeper concaves assist with some tricks. Not me. I like to move my feet around a lot, and severe concaves and kicks are an impediment to that. Anyway, looking forward to riding this.
